My name is David Schaffer. I will be posting on professional interests including collaboration and social business, and more broadly on IT for business and professional service firms. I also post on personal interests from time to time, including family, life in Connecticut and ski patrolling.

I am currently a Systems Administrator with Kobargo Technology Partners, serving their clients in Connecticut and New York, primarily in Windows Server networks.

Through 2016 I served as Director of Technology for Schaffer Consulting, a management consulting firm based in Stamford, CT. I worked with Google Apps, Notes/Domino, and Novell networking products (OES, SuSE Linux, e-directory) running with Windows, Macintosh and Linux. I managed and supported cloud apps, servers, network infrastructure and desktop and mobile end user computers. I also purchased and managed telecommunications services and mobile devices.

I also consulted and sold to small business as There Must Be A Better Way.

I serve as a volunteer ski patroller at Thunder Ridge in Patterson, NY.
